A wire elevator is a still relatively unknown treatment. Unjustified, because he is very effective! With a wire elevator, the cleavage is rejuvenated through sutures, also called a PDO wire elevator. A wire elevator uses biodegradable sutures. These have been known within surgery for many years as dissolvable sutures. These sutures are placed in the deeper layer of the skin during treatment. There they attach to the subcutaneous tissue and create tension in the desired direction. This stretches the skin slightly, which will cause the skin to produce collagen around the suture after a few days. Collagen provides the skin’s natural firmness and elasticity, creating the desired lifting effect.
Why a PDO wire elevator?
