Daxxify
Daxxify, the long-awaited Botox that lasts longer, was approved by the FDA (Food and Drug) yesterday (September 8, 2022). Administration) in America. Botox can get hot
Daxxify (DaxibotulinumtoxinA-lanm) is designed by pharmaceutical Revance . The ingredients of Daxxify are almost identical to those of Botox. Both Botox and Daxxify derive from the core component of Botulium type A. Botox uses two additional proteins for stabilization, while Daxxify uses a peptide.
In addition to a 1.5 times longer effect, Daxxify also works faster. Where Botox takes seven days to become fully effective, Daxxify only takes two days. So it may well be that Botox will get hot underfoot.
Ambiguities about Daxxify
We are already very familiar with Botox, but despite the fact that Daxxify is very similar, there are still many uncertainties about Daxxify, such as: the price, the side effects and what effect this new product will have on the frequency of clinic visits.
Botox will not disappear overnight
Botox will not disappear overnight, but Daxxify does have good cards to take over in the long run. It is possible that Daxxify will be marketed as its own brand, but it is also conceivable that the name Botox will remain, but Daxxify will be used. Time will tell.

What is Botox?
We are almost all familiar with the anti-wrinkle treatment Botox. There are several brands of Botox on the market. Botox is officially a brand name for the naturally derived protein Botulinum toxin. At The Body Clinic we use the A-brand Azzalure. By using Botox, the ‘tightening signal’ between the nerves and the muscles in the skin is blocked. As a result, the muscles in the skin can no longer be (fully) tightened. Botox is injected into the skin by injection and is virtually painless.
