Florence Faqiri-Dogrusoz

Drs. Florence Faqiri-Dogrusoz works as a doctor of Medical Weight Loss at the Body Clinic in Utrecht, The Hague and Den Bosch. In addition, Florence works as a general practitioner.

As a general practitioner, Florence sees that overweight can contribute to the development of cardiovascular disease, among other things. She therefore sees it as her mission to treat overweight and thereby contribute to the prevention of cardiovascular disease.

“What really appeals to me about the Body Clinic’s working method is that, in addition to offering Saxenda, as a support, a counseling process with, among other things, a nutrition coach is also offered. This way people can develop better lifestyle habits that will benefit them for the rest of their lives and thus maintain their goal weight.”

Florence studied medicine at the Leiden University Medical Center. After obtaining her doctor’s degree in 2016, she worked for a number of years as a medical doctor at, among others, Internal Medicine and Ophthalmology. After this, Florence completed her general practitioner training at the University Medical Center Utrecht.
