Medication and prices
Various types of medication can be prescribed in our programs. All medication requires a prescription. If you are eligible for the program, the medication will be prescribed by our doctor and dispensed by our affiliated pharmacist.
1. Start with the intake
You always start with a telephone intake interview with an assistant. During this conversation, the program will be explained, and if appropriate, a doctor's consultation will be scheduled.
2. Doctor's consultation
After the intake, the doctor's consultation follows. In this, you discuss your situation with the doctor, and the doctor assesses whether participation in the program is medically responsible.
3. Medication delivery
If the doctor deems the treatment suitable, a prescription will be created, and the pharmacy will arrange for secure home delivery of the medication.
4. Start injections
Inject the medication as prescribed: weekly on a fixed day or daily, depending on the type of medication.
5. Medical supervision by doctor
Throughout the entire program, you remain under the medical supervision of the doctor. The doctor remains involved in the course of the treatment.
6. Coach guidance
At the start, you receive guidance from a coach and access to the nutrition app. Together with the coach, you will look at nutrition, exercise, and lifestyle. After the first month, you can choose your level of guidance.
7. Progress monitoring
Progress is monitored by the doctor, coach, and pharmacy. The treatment can be adjusted in consultation.
8. Tapering off medication
Upon reaching your target weight, you will work with the doctor and coach to taper off the medication or develop a maintenance strategy.
9. Relapse prevention
After tapering off medication, the maintenance phase begins. The relapse prevention program helps you to maintain your weight independently, with professional support when needed.
Online consultation or in one of our 12 clinics
The doctor's consultation can take place entirely online or in one of our 12 clinics. Prior to the doctor's consultation, an intake interview with an assistant always takes place. You can book this directly.

The program is supervised by a BIG-registered doctor. The nutrition coach guides you through lifestyle changes and healthy eating patterns. In case of medical questions or side effects, contact with the doctor is always possible.

The medical weight loss coach
During the program, you will receive guidance from your medical weight loss coach. The coach helps you adapt your lifestyle and learn healthy eating habits. In consultation with the doctor, the coach discusses topics such as nutrition, exercise, and motivation, tailored to your personal situation.
Consultation in the clinic or online
The doctor's consultation can take place in one of our clinics or entirely online. During the consultation, the doctor will discuss the possible treatment options with you and assess whether medication is medically responsible.
Home delivery via AMP
The medication prescribed within this program is dispensed by an affiliated pharmacy and delivered to your home via AMP, a specialized medical delivery service. AMP delivers chilled, traceable, and by appointment — during the day, in the evening, or on Saturday — so that quality and temperature are maintained.
Safety of medication
The medication that can be prescribed within this program is registered with the Medicines Evaluation Board (CBG) and is only available by prescription. Always read the leaflet or the official SmPC (Summary of Product Characteristics) for information on efficacy, contraindications, and possible side effects.
