Part 1 of 2 - Profhilo

The first part of the Winter Skin Special consists of a Profhilo treatment. This treatment stimulates the production of collagen and elastin for deep hydration and skin firming. Your skin is nourished from within and gets a visibly fresher, smoother appearance.

Recovery time

The treatments are not performed on the same day but can be combined after 24 hours for the best results. After the Profhilo treatment, your skin needs this time to recover.

Part 2 of 2 - Vitamin C Peel

The second part of the treatment consists of a vitamin C peel. This is a mild enzyme peel that removes dead skin cells. Your skin gets a healthy glow, a refined skin texture, and less redness or dullness. Follow the aftercare instructions of the practitioner carefully for optimal results.

Before the treatment
Start with Arnica drops five days before the Profhilo treatment and stop taking nutritional supplements and blood thinners such as aspirin, naproxen, and ibuprofen. For the Vitamin C peel, it is important not to use tretinoin or retinol on the face for at least 2 days beforehand.

After the treatment
Avoid intensive treatments such as facial scrubs, microdermabrasion, laser, and connective tissue massages for the first 48 hours after the Profhilo treatment. After 24 hours, the injection points are closed, and a vitamin C peel is possible. For the first few days after the vitamin C peel, we advise against visiting the sauna or swimming pool. Use only perfume- and alcohol-free skincare products on the face and avoid skincare products with active ingredients such as retinol and glycolic acid. Protect your skin with at least SPF30+.

Recovery time
Although the treatment usually proceeds without problems, in exceptional cases, mild reactions such as redness, swelling, itching, or sensitivity to touch may occur. If side effects persist longer than expected, contact your treating physician. After the peel, you may experience slight flaking. This is a normal part of the recovery process.
