What are crow's feet?
Crow's feet are also known as laugh lines. Laughing or squinting, for example due to bright sunlight, causes the muscles around the eyes to contract. In addition, smoking also contributes significantly to the formation of crow's feet. The wrinkles around the eyes look a bit like a crow's foot. Crow's feet can be considered charming, but when they remain in the skin due to reduced elasticity, they are usually perceived as bothersome. The wrinkles often start under the eyes and spread to the side of the eye.
Why Botox for crow's feet?
A good solution for these so-called crow's feet is a treatment with Botox. By relaxing the muscle around the eye, the wrinkles around the eye can be reduced. Even early laugh lines can be effectively treated with a few Botox injections. The skin around the eyes then becomes visibly smoother, and you will have a fresher look.
Fillers for crow's feet
When crow's feet have become deeper and permanent over the years, a Botox treatment may not always be sufficient. Due to volume loss in the face, the wrinkles can be deep in the skin, making volume restoration a necessity. A treatment with hyaluronic acid fillers in combination with Botox can sometimes be the best solution. We always advise you to first request a free consultation at The Body Clinic. The cosmetic doctor can then determine which treatment is most effective for you. We are happy to provide tailor-made advice with a natural result as a starting point.
The Botox crow's feet treatment
The Botox treatment for crow's feet can easily be performed during your lunch break. After photos have been taken and you have completed a health declaration and treatment agreement, the treatment can begin immediately. Approximately 6-8 injections are given into the muscles around the eyes. The treatment takes no more than 15 minutes. After the treatment, virtually nothing is visible externally. You can resume your daily activities right away. Cooling is not necessary.
The result of Botox treatment for your crow's feet
After approximately 4-7 days, the result of the Botox treatment will be visible, and you can expect a rested and fresh look. If you continue to repeat the crow's feet treatment and start early, it will prevent laugh lines around your eyes from having a chance to form. The result is visible for an average of about 3 to 4 months after the first treatment. After multiple treatments, the result is visible for an average of 4 to 5 months. This varies per person.
