How does the NeckTite work with radiofrequency energy?
The NeckTite is one of the few treatments that uses radiofrequency energy to reduce fat, also known as Radio Frequency Assisted Lipolysis (RFAL). The NeckTite consists of one cannula with an electrode on the end that is inserted into the fat cells under the skin and one negative electrode that goes over the skin. Radiofrequency energy is generated between the cannula and the negative electrode, allowing that energy to pass through the skin. This energy provides controlled heating of the skin and fatty tissue. As a result, fat deposits liquefy, skin tightens and natural collagen production is stimulated.
The NeckTite treatment
During the NeckTite procedure, the skin is locally anesthetized, after which four to eight small incisions are made. The cannula that must be placed under the skin is inserted through these incisions. Before treatment, avoid (sun) tanning the skin and do not drink alcohol prior to treatment. You will be anesthetized locally by injection before the treatment takes place.
After NeckTite treatment, your practitioner will provide you with comprehensive aftercare information. It is important to care for your skin according to these instructions to ensure optimal recovery and best results. You should not shower for at least 48 hours after treatment and should not wear makeup on the treated area for 72 hours after treatment. It is important to wear a face compression mask for 5 days and then 12 hours a day for a week and a half.
Immediately after treatment, there will already be visible results. However, these results continue to develop for 6 to 12 months after treatment. The recovery time from NeckTite treatment takes between 4 and 8 days on average. For the first five days after treatments, you will need to wear a facial compression mask to promote recovery.
