What does an EPTQ treatment entail?

EPTQ is a hyaluronic acid-based filler. During the treatment, the doctor injects EPTQ at strategic points in your face. The treatment takes 15 to 30 minutes, and you will see immediate results. Because the hyaluronic acid closely resembles that found in your own body, an allergy test beforehand is not necessary.

All EPTQ fillers contain lidocaine, an anesthetic, ensuring you experience the treatment as comfortably as possible.

Types of EPTQ fillers:

EPTQ S100: a soft filler for fine lines, such as around the eyes and mouth. Suitable for subtle corrections close to the skin's surface.

EPTQ S300: a medium-density filler for deeper wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds and marionette lines. Also suitable for giving your lips more shape and volume.

EPTQ S500: the firmest filler in the range, for restoring volume and contouring, such as cheekbones, chin, and jawline.

Safety EPTQ

EPTQ is a hyaluronic acid filler with a CE mark. A major advantage of hyaluronic acid is that it occurs naturally in your skin, making the chance of an allergic reaction very small. Pre- and post-care

Before the treatment

Good preparation helps achieve the best result. Therefore, stop taking supplements, vitamins, and fish oil 5 days before the treatment. Avoid alcohol 48 hours before the treatment. Stop taking blood thinners (naproxen, ibuprofen, aspirin) 1 week before the treatment – consult your doctor if necessary. Optional: take Arnica drops (maximum dosage).

After the treatment

Immediately after the treatment, we recommend cooling the area to reduce swelling. Avoid sunlight, tanning beds, and saunas for the first week after treatment. Use SPF 30+ daily. Do not schedule any beauty treatments for the treated area for the first 2 weeks.

Recovery time

The recovery time after an EPTQ treatment is a maximum of 3 to 5 days. Some swelling may occur, especially with larger amounts of filler. This usually subsides within a few days. Small bruises can be camouflaged with makeup several hours after the treatment.

Duration of the result

You will see the full result after about 2 weeks, once any swelling has disappeared. Afterwards, EPTQ is gradually broken down by your body; this is a natural process. How long the result lasts varies per person and per treated area. Your doctor will discuss this with you during the consultation.
