What does the Rejuran treatment involve?

Rejuran is a skin booster based on (PDRN/PN), biological building blocks derived from purified salmon DNA. Through a series of micro-injections, these powerful ingredients are delivered directly into the skin. They help activate skin cells, stimulate collagen production, and reduce inflammation. The result is firmer, smoother, and deeply hydrated skin from within. Unlike dermal fillers, Rejuran does not add volume. Instead, the treatment is fully focused on improving skin quality, skin repair, and natural skin regeneration.

This treatment is not recommended for patients with a fish allergy.

Preparation for the treatment

Before the treatment, the doctor calmly goes through the steps with you. Your skin is cleansed to remove makeup residues and dirt, allowing us to start clean and safely with the Rejuran treatment.

The treatment

A Rejuran treatment takes 30 minutes. After carefully marking the treatment area, the doctor administers Rejuran through a series of strategic micro-injections to achieve the best possible results.

Recovery at the clinic

If desired, you can relax for a while before resuming your daily activities. The doctor discusses with you what you can and cannot do in the coming hours and days, so you know how best to manage the treated area.

Follow-up appointment

The result of Rejuran is visible after a minimum of eight weeks, after which we recommend scheduling a follow-up appointment. Up to three treatments are needed for the desired result.

Pre- and post-care

Before the treatment

Stop blood thinners (aspirin, naproxen, ibuprofen - consult your doctor), vitamins, fish oil, and supplements 5 days before the treatment. Do not drink alcohol 48 hours before the treatment. Optional: start Arnica drops 5 days before treatment. New client: arrive 15 minutes early for data registration.

After the treatment

If necessary, you may cool the treated area after the procedure. Do not rub or massage the skin for the first 24 hours. Avoid wearing make-up for at least 12 hours, and refrain from exercise, saunas, and hot baths for 48 hours. Protect the skin from direct sun exposure for at least one week and use a daily sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher. Consult us to determine whether other skin treatments should be postponed.

Recovery time

A Rejuran treatment requires minimal downtime. Mild swelling, slight redness, or small bruises at the injection sites are normal and usually disappear within a few days. Most patients can resume their normal daily activities the day after treatment.

Duration of the result

The first improvements are usually visible after 2 to 4 weeks. Optimal results are typically achieved after a course of 2 to 3 treatments. The improved skin quality can last between 6 and 12 months. To maintain long-lasting results, a maintenance treatment every 6 to 12 months is recommended. For treatments around the eyes, more frequent maintenance sessions may be advised.

Safety of Rejuran

At The Body Clinic, you are treated by experienced BIG-registered cosmetic doctors. The polynucleotides used in Rejuran are of biological origin and are highly compatible with the skin. Before treatment, a comprehensive consultation is always carried out to assess your skin type, medical history, medication use, and any possible contraindications.

The treatment is not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding, in cases of active skin infections, or for individuals with a fish allergy.

Rejuran and botox are fundamentally different treatments and are not directly comparable. Botox relaxes muscles to reduce wrinkles but has no effect on skin quality itself. Rejuran focuses on the regeneration and improvement of the skin from within, without affecting muscle function. The treatments can be used perfectly alongside each other: botox for expression lines and Rejuran for overall skin quality, texture, and hydration. You can discuss which treatment suits you best during a free consultation with one of our skin therapists.
Rejuran is a skin booster treatment in which polynucleotides (PDRN/PN), derived from purified salmon DNA, are introduced into the skin via microinjections.
