Hyaluronic acid improves skin structure and corrects deep or superficial (acne) scars. This is because hyaluronic acid retains water, and water can provide more volume. Dimples, indentations, and other irregularities are filled and simultaneously hydrated during a treatment with hyaluronic acid, making the skin more supple and elastic. Both deep and superficial scars can be easily corrected with hyaluronic acid. The risks are minimal.
