Finding the right day cream is no piece of cake
The Body Clinic asked me to write a review of my experiences with Restylane day cream. Because finding a good day cream isn't that easy! A day cream should improve your skin. When I was younger, I had different requirements for my skin than I do now that I'm getting older. I wanted my skin to feel soft, to be nourished, and to be easy to apply.
But now, I have completely different requirements.
I'm only 29, and wrinkles are slowly starting to appear. Recently, I stood in front of the mirror: HUH, WHAT was I thinking? I suddenly saw a small frown line in the corner of my eye, and a little crow's foot smiled at me on the right side. Okay, so time is really starting to tick. We need to do something! I'm not yet open to Botox or Fillers. That doesn't suit me yet, and I consider myself too young. However, I do want to see if a good day cream with the right ingredients can give me a little help.
I've always been quite skeptical about creams, serums, and other facial products, because nine out of ten times, it's the expensive packaging rather than the product's effectiveness. In various perfumeries, you're exposed to temptations. Good marketing campaigns and beautiful saleswomen with perfect skin trying to entice you. Well, who wouldn't succumb to that? On the other hand, I must admit that I am quite sensitive to lovely scents. So, when I walk into a perfumery, I always hope to leave without products, but somehow, I'm a softie. In the end, I still want to believe that I've found THE unique product that will change my skin forever!
Suddenly, the Restylane day cream was in my bag. Did I want to try it? Beautiful packaging, smells nice, and a convenient size. Also ideal for taking with you. But what exactly does it do for your skin?

The technology behind Restylane
By adding hyaluronic acid stabilized with NASHA™ technology, the cream provides better and long-lasting hydration. The crystalline NASHA particles make the skin glow and fill in small wrinkles. Sorry, did you say wrinkles? I can't start testing soon enough!! Bring it on. I will use the Restylane cream every day for a week to see what it does for my skin.
Day 1:
The packaging comes off, and in no time, there's a blob on my palm. The cream spreads very well. And it smells nice too!
Day 2:
I'm in a hurry because mornings are always stressful. Fortunately, a day cream is the base for my makeup. It absorbs quickly, so powder can be easily applied afterward.
Day 3:
I see that my skin is definitely nourished; it's soft, rich in nutrients, and it's starting to glow.
Day 4:
My daily ritual with my new friend isn't boring yet! Especially now that I can see the cream is becoming a favorite. I know the weather is going to be nice, so I'm curious if it protects my skin well against the sun. Factor 15 is indicated on the packaging, so it has to live up to its promises.
Day 5:
My skin doesn't feel tight after a day in the sun, which is what I envisioned. Of course, I also used sun protection. Heliocare 360 sunscreen is my favorite. This spray is easy to use, spreads wonderfully, and absorbs quickly.
Day 6:
The week is almost over, and my sometimes-imperfect skin really seems less so. That's what I want!
Day 7:
Of course, you understand that one week is simply too short to get the best results. But I am certainly happy with this cream. I believe that results will be visible in the long term. All advice therefore applies: always cleanse your skin, use a good day and night cream, and sometimes a mask to revitalize your skin.
