There aren't usually many changes in the cosmetic world; occasionally, a new skin booster is launched, and now and then, a new technique is developed to tighten your skin even better.

With the arrival of Radiesse Hyperdiluted, various brands are now introducing hybrid fillers to the market. A hybrid filler is a combination of hyaluronic acid and a collagen-stimulating filler in one syringe.

The Advantage of Hybrid Fillers

By using hybrid fillers, you kill two birds with one stone. The collagen-stimulating injectable promotes collagen and elastin production. This effect is only visible after approximately 6 weeks. The hyaluronic acid in the injectable immediately provides volume and support to the skin, with results being almost instantly visible. The doctor determines the extent to which a hyaluronic acid filler is mixed with a collagen-stimulating booster such as Radiesse, Sculptra or Lanluma. The skin-improving effect of the collagen booster is not immediately visible. Production only starts after about 4-6 weeks and continues for up to six months, with results lasting around two years.

Ready-made Hybrid Filler

There are also ready-made hybrid fillers available called HArmonyCa, consisting of hyaluronic acid and calcium hydroxyapatite. The hyaluronic acid provides a moisturizing effect, immediately reducing the visibility of lines. Calcium hydroxyapatite stimulates skin cells to produce new collagen and elastin. As a result, the skin gains more volume, receives a slight lift, and becomes firmer over time.

Not Ready for Fillers Yet

If you're not ready for fillers yet, it's also possible to mix skin boosters with collagen boosters like Sculptra, Lanluma, or Radiesse. A skin booster like Profhilo, for instance, is a very thin hyaluronic acid that doesn't add volume but provides a beautiful glow due to its moisturizing effect. By adding a collagen-stimulating filler to this, you encourage the skin to produce new collagen, making the skin firmer and more elastic.
