Stop blood thinners (aspirin, ibuprofen, naproxen) and supplements 5 days before the treatment – consult your doctor if necessary. Do not drink alcohol 48 hours before the treatment. Optional: start Arnica drops 5 days before the treatment.

Do not apply make-up for the first few hours after the Restylane treatment. Avoid direct sunlight, sunbeds, and saunas in the first week after the treatment, and use an SPF30+. Wait 2 weeks before having beauty treatments in the treated area.

In the first few days, you may experience swelling and bruising. This swelling usually subsides within a few days. Bruises can be camouflaged with make-up after a few hours. Most people can return to work the next day. Plan for few social obligations during the first 3-4 days.
