I am Drs. Brita Röell and I studied medicine at Amsterdam UMC. During my studies, I noticed that I was enthusiastic about many specialties and that I didn't want to become a doctor for a specific specialty, but for the patient, to make a difference for someone else. I still bring this broad interest into my work: I like to look beyond just the complaint someone presents with. That's why I would like to become a general practitioner in the future. I get energy from personal contact with my patients and I am happy to work for vulnerable groups. Recently, for example, I worked at Veilig Thuis (Safe Home). This experience aligns with how I work now, with an eye for the person behind the question. As a medical weight loss doctor, I strive for an achievable and sustainable goal; I believe in the importance of cooperation, and both your physical and mental health are central. I am happy to think along with you, so that together we find an approach that suits your life. I would love to make a difference for you!
