The Winter Skin Special is a combination treatment specially developed by our skin therapists to optimally care for your skin during the winter months. The treatment consists of two parts that reinforce each other. You start with the Profhilo treatment and the second treatment is a vitamin C peel.

The first part of the Winter Skin Special consists of a Profhilo treatment. This treatment stimulates the production of collagen and elastin for deep hydration and firming of the skin. Your skin is nourished from within and gets a visibly fresher, smoother appearance.
The treatments are not performed on the same day but can be combined after just 24 hours for the best result. After the Profhilo treatment, your skin needs this time to recover.
The second part of the treatment consists of a vitamin C peel. This is a mild enzyme peel that removes dead skin cells. Your skin gets a healthy glow, a refined skin texture, and less redness or dullness. Follow the aftercare instructions of the practitioner carefully for optimal results.

Safety of the Winter Skin Special
The Winter Skin Special is an extremely safe treatment. The chance of unwanted reactions is very small. The treatment is quick to perform and well-tolerated, with little chance of hematomas (bruises). The vitamin C peel is performed after a minimum of 24 hours, so that the injection points are completely closed.

Most people find the Winter Skin special to be well-tolerated, with a pain level between 4 and 6. If desired, a numbing cream can be applied for the first part of the treatment. The Vitamin C peel feels warm for two to three minutes, but this is also manageable.
The Winter Skin special is a combination treatment and costs a total of €395. This price includes both treatments: the Profhilo treatment (€265) and the vitamin C peel (€130).
The Profhilo treatment is performed using the BAP technique. 10 injections are placed in an anatomically carefully selected area for optimal results. Through this technique, the hyaluronic acid spreads evenly over the area to be treated.
Hyaluronic acid is a substance that occurs naturally in the skin and is therefore extremely well tolerated. Possible side effects of a Profhilo treatment are mild swelling, redness and sometimes a few bruises. These are caused more by the injections than by the product itself and will disappear quickly. Profhilo has been on the market since 2015 and is widely used worldwide, with no side effects other than those mentioned above reported to date.
Yes, a vitamin C peel is good for the skin. Vitamin C acts as a powerful antioxidant that helps lighten pigmentation spots, improve skin tone, and stimulate collagen production. It gives the skin a fresh, even complexion. This peel is mild and suitable for many skin types.
After a peel, the skin is temporarily more sensitive. Therefore, avoid products with acids (such as glycolic acid or salicylic acid), retinol, scrubs, and other exfoliating agents. Also, do not use products with perfume or alcohol.
Opt for mild, hydrating, and calming care, and avoid direct sunlight during recovery. How long caution is needed depends on the type of peel.
