What does a hair filler treatment involve?
During a hair filler treatment, we apply the DR.CYJ Hair Filler with a thin needle into the scalp, at the level of the hair follicles. The filler contains 7 patented peptides and hyaluronic acid and is aimed at reducing hair loss and stimulating stronger, thicker hair. For optimal results, an initial course of four bi-weekly treatments is advised, followed by a maintenance treatment every 6 months.
Why a hair filler treatment?

How does the DR.CYJ Hair Filler work?
After the first treatment, the hair filler helps to inhibit the hair loss process. Subsequent sessions stimulate blood circulation in the scalp and activate hair follicles, thereby supporting hair growth and allowing hair to return stronger and thicker. A treatment takes an average of 15 minutes.
During a free consultation, the doctor analyzes the condition of your scalp and hair follicles and the cause of your hair loss. The doctor determines whether hair fillers are suitable for your situation. This way, you know exactly what to expect.
The doctor will go through the treatment with you step by step and answer any questions. We ask you to arrive 30 minutes before the treatment so that we can apply anesthetic cream to the scalp.
The hair filler is applied with a thin needle to the scalp at the level of the hair follicles. A treatment takes an average of 15 minutes. The doctor systematically applies the filler over the area to be treated for optimal results.
After the hair filler treatment, you can immediately cool the area at our clinic to reduce swelling. If desired, you can rest comfortably at the clinic for a while. The doctor will discuss with you what you can and cannot do in the coming hours and days.
For optimal results, we recommend 4 treatments every 2 weeks (total 8 weeks). Hair loss already stops after the first session. The follow-up treatments stimulate blood circulation and hair follicles, accelerating the hair growth process.

They are suitable for early hair loss, strengthen existing hair, and require no recovery time. The results are gradually visible after several weeks. Hair transplantation is a surgical procedure where hair follicles are moved to bald areas for permanent new hair. This requires 1-2 weeks of recovery, and the final result is only visible after 6-12 months. In short: hair fillers are preventive and strengthening, while hair transplantation restores bald areas.
This can vary per person, as hair problems can differ and everyone may react differently to the treatment. For optimal results, you should expect 4 treatment sessions. This is one session every 2 weeks, over a period of 8 weeks.

You should not undergo DR.CYJ hair filler treatment if you are hypersensitive to hyaluronic acid, are pregnant or breastfeeding, use anticoagulants or blood thinners, have an autoimmune disease or are undergoing immunotherapy, have an inflammation on your scalp, or have one or more scars on your scalp.
A hair filler treatment is comparable to a normal filler treatment. Some people find injections into the scalp a bit more painful than others. By applying numbing cream to the scalp 30 minutes before the treatment, the procedure is well tolerable.
