Prior to treatment, we always schedule a consultation with you first to see if you qualify for Philart Eyes treatment. Avoid excessive sun exposure and harsh skin products, such as peels or acids, for a few days before treatment. On the day of treatment, you should not wear makeup or mascara. You should also be present 30 minutes before the treatment so that an anesthetic cream can be applied to the area to be treated.
For at least 12 hours after treatment, do not touch, clean or apply makeup to the treated area. For the first week after treatment, avoid sun exposure and use a sunscreen with high SPF to protect the skin. At all times, please adhere to the aftercare instructions shared with you by our doctor.
The recovery time from a Philart Eyes treatment is short, however, it may take three to four weeks before you see results from the Philart Eyes treatment. Immediately after treatment there may be slight redness, swelling or bruising around the treated area, these side effects are normally short-lived. Generally, you can return to your full daily routine within 48 hours of treatment.
