Making your own almond scrub for your skin

Try this scrub while you fill up the bath for yourself. It is an effective way to restore moisture to your skin. Gentle almond oil mixed with sugar removes dead skin cells and cleanses clogged pores. The almond also makes your skin nice and soft, and the sugar has an antibacterial effect, which helps prevent pimples.

How do you make the scrub?
Mix 60 ml of almond oil with 60 g of caster sugar and a few drops of rose extract.

Take a little of the scrub and lightly massage into your skin. Go a little more thoroughly for areas with more calluses, such as your elbows, knees and heels. Did you scrub yourself all over? By then the bath will have filled up and you can lower yourself into the warm water. The scrub washes off your body by itself. The almond oil is absorbed into the bath water and the rose extract leaves a floral scent in your bathroom.

Almond oil is a good source of Vitamins A, B and E: vitamins, all of which are critical to keeping your skin smooth and radiant. Almond oil helps keep the various skin layers in good condition and is also quickly absorbed by the skin without clogging pores. A must-have in your bathroom cabinet, especially if you suffer from dry, sensitive or irritated skin.
