Summer is in full swing and the end of Corona seems insightful. Are you ready for terraces, barbecues or a flight to a tropical destination? We have all waited for this for such a long time and now it is here. Here are 5 tips to avoid sweating and get glowing skin in summer.

Radiant skin and not sweating in the summer? Check out our 5 tips!

  1. Sweating

Sloshing armpits on a hot summer day or large sweat patches during a festival, excessive perspiration can be considered very unpleasant. We have the solution for you. Anti-perspiration treatment with Botox temporarily blocks the nerve that controls the sweat gland. Two weeks after the treatment, your armpits will no longer sweat and you will also not suffer from unpleasant odors.

  2. Out of the sun after fillers

If you have vacation plans and would like a filler treatment before then our advice is to schedule it in time. After a filler treatment, the skin needs time to recover. Therefore, stay out of the sun for three days; should the swelling, redness and bruising not go away after three days, we recommend staying out of the sun longer. Our advice is to schedule a filler treatment at least two weeks before you go on vacation. If complications occur or you are not satisfied, this can still be discussed and/or remedied during the checkup appointment.

  3. Botox against wrinkles

Do you always squint your eyes when you look into the sun? If so, it is not very beneficial for frown lines and crow’s feet. Botox treatment temporarily relaxes the muscles. As a result, a wrinkle does not have a chance.

  4. Corona vaccination

Is your Corona vaccination scheduled this summer? If so, we recommend that you do not schedule a filler treatment two weeks before and two weeks after your vaccination. This significantly reduces your chances of getting side effects. A Corona vaccination does not affect a Botox treatment. Read more about the Corona vaccine and fillers here.

  5. Skin Protection

During the summer months, always protect your skin with a sunscreen, with at least SPF30. Sun damage causes skin aging, pigmentation and age spots.

Go into the sunny days relaxed, dry and prepared and who knows, see you soon at our clinic!
