What can you expect when you visit The Body Clinic?
The first consultation with our doctor is always free and without obligation. You will receive personalized advice from him/her and he/she will answer all your questions. Should you feel good after the consultation and accompanying treatment recommendations, it is sometimes possible to be treated immediately. We cannot guarantee this, as sufficient time must be left after the intake interview to carry out the treatment. We always advise our clients to put their questions on paper so that as much information as possible can be given during the intake.
A-quality products
Should you proceed to treatment, you can rest assured that at The Body Clinic you will be treated with only the best products. We use only the A brands that have been on the market for a long time. The needles we use at The Body Clinic are extra thin. If you bruise easily or if a large area needs to be treated, you can opt for treatment with a “cannula” in consultation with your doctor. Canulas are needles without a sharp tip, so you are less likely to bruise.
Relaxation before treatment
Upon entering, you will first get something to drink before you and our hostess start filling in your details. At The Body Clinic, we no longer work with paper files; everything is recorded digitally via iPad. When you first join us, there are always “before” photos taken in our modest photo studio. These photos are taken for your personal records and, of course, are not used for other purposes without permission.
Comfort and tranquility
For most people, undergoing treatment with fillers or injectables is quite exciting. Therefore, we feel it is very important to create an atmosphere and environment in which you feel comfortable. Our clinic in Amsterdam is located in a rustic neighborhood in Amsterdam Zuid. Our clinic in Duiven is located in an old farmhouse surrounded by beautiful gardens. This is considered very pleasant and soothing by many people.
Because comfort is our top priority, if you are being treated with fillers or injectables, you will always be given the option of numbing the area with Emla cream. This anesthetic cream will make the treatment less sensitive. Emla cream should soak in for 20 minutes so that the client experiences little pain during a treatment. Not every clinic offers this, but we like that the client has less pain and the treatment will be a lot more pleasant.
After treatment
At The Body Clinic, we routinely cool with ice packs to prevent swelling. You will always be given a post-treatment protocol to take home, which includes living rules for the first few days after treatment. You will additionally have the opportunity to cool down with ice packs in our “recovery” room and recover with a drink.
If you have visited us for the first time, we always schedule a follow-up appointment. This is to monitor our quality and because we are very curious about how satisfied you are with the result. We want you to be satisfied and will also do everything possible, within our means, to make this happen. In case of disappointing results, we will, within reason and by mutual agreement, top up your treatment free of charge.
