Tip #1: Above all, don’t let the price fool you. You never know why a price is so low. This can have several causes: unregistered product, quantities are less, no qualified physician, etc. The average price for a botox treatment (1 zone) is about 200 euros. A good clinic also does not need to advertise or compete with a price. What matters is the quality of the product, the doctor and the service. In the end, though, it’s your face you’re talking about.
Tip #2: Always consult with a doctor first and ask anything you want to know. A good doctor gives honest information about treatment and price. Get a good feeling from a doctor. Otherwise prepare a questionnaire beforehand (what brand is used, are they temporary fillers (permanent fillers are prohibited in the Netherlands), are the fillers based on hyaluronic acid, how many ml do I need, does the result remain natural, what is the price etc).
Tip 3: Check if the clinic you go to is affiliated with the NVCG (Dutch Society of Cosmetic Medicine). This association guarantees the quality of cosmetic treatments performed by their members. For example, members can attend continuing education courses, quality standards are established for them, there is a complaints committee, and complications are always recorded.
