What are Skinboosters?
We are often asked what a Skinbooster actually is. Restylane Skinboosters belong to the Restylane filler product line and is called Restylane Vital. The Skinbooster uses the scientifically proven action of stabilized hyaluronic acid. This is a natural substance found in the body itself that has a hydrating and collagen stimulating effect on the skin. Hyaluronic acid is naturally found in the skin, but due to the natural aging process, its amount gradually decreases. This results in less volume and elasticity of the skin causing wrinkles.

Unlike the corrective action of fillers( filling inwrinkles, increasing volume, lifting and contouring), skin boosters are used to care for the skin from the inside out. Skinbooster is administered by micro-injections into the upper layer of the skin in order to stimulate the skin’s natural hyaluronic acid reserves from within for a long time. We recommend a treatment plan of two treatments. As an example, the treatment of the cheek. The first treatment consists of 1 ml per cheek. After 4 weeks you will come back for the second treatment, which also consists of 1 ml per cheek. Thus, a total of 4 ml is injected over two treatments.
