Earlobe correction with fillers
Fillers can restore an area that has lost its firmness. In addition to filling, hyaluronic acid-based fillers encourage the area to form collagen. At The Body Clinic, we use only temporary fillers. Permanent fillers and silicone used to be used. However, permanent fillers cannot be corrected and therefore cannot be dissolved. Nowadays, this is why we use temporary fillers in the Netherlands. These fillers are hyaluronic acid-based, a translucent body gel. At The Body Clinic, we only work with A-brands of hyaluronic acid, such as Restylane, Teosyal or Saypha. Millions of treatments have already been performed with these hyaluronic acids and their long-term safety has also been proven.
Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance found in the body itself that has a hydrating and collagen stimulating effect on the skin. With natural aging, the amount of hyaluronic acid and thus volume in the skin decreases. How quickly this progresses depends on lifestyle, wear and tear of the skin and heredity, among other factors.
Streaks in your earlobe
The loss of volume in the earlobe causes striations in the skin. This makes it look as if your earring hole has been ripped out. This can be perceived as very distracting. Through filler treatment, we can restore strength to your earlobe. The lines will disappear and your earlobe will look firmer again.
For the earlobe correction treatment
You don’t have to go under the knife for this earlobe correction, there is no cutting, so you won’t be stuck with stitches afterwards. Prior to the filler treatment, you will fill out a medical questionnaire at our clinic so that we are aware of your health. After this, photographs are taken of the area to be treated. Together with your doctor you will then discuss your wishes and the doctor will then explain to you which treatment will take place and which brand of filler is suitable for this. After the photos, your earlobe will be rubbed with numbing cream. We allow this cream to soak in for 30 minutes after which the doctor will let you in for treatment.
Earlobe correction treatment
Using very small injection needles, the filler is injected into the area to be treated. The earlobe may be swollen, red and possibly a little blue after treatment. You can refrigerate at our clinic to reduce swelling and blue discoloration. After treatment, you can go about your daily activities with peace of mind.

After about two weeks, you will return for a checkup appointment to review the results and possibly touch up where needed.
