Hyaluronic acid fillers from the Restylane brand
There are many different brands of fillers on the market. As such, we are often asked what brand of fillers we use. Restylane is one of the brands we use at The Body Clinic. Restylane, a hyaluronic acid, has been used for over 20 years and countless treatments have been performed with it. Hyaluronic acid is a substance that occurs naturally in the skin, but due to the aging process, its amount gradually decreases. This results in less volume and elasticity in the skin. Wrinkles may appear as a result. By injecting the skin with hyaluronic acid fillers from Restylane, the skin regains its natural volume and elasticity. Wrinkles fade away.
Restylane from Galderma
Restylane is the world’s leading player in hyaluronic acid fillers from the manufacturer Galderma. The fillers are specifically designed to restore facial volume and beautify facial shapes and contours. Restylane offers several types of hyaluronic acid fillers. Each sub-variant can be used for a different purpose.
Restylane Lido
Restylane Lido restores natural volume and elasticity by filling in wrinkles and lines. Likewise, this filler provides more support and structure to the skin. This filler is mainly used in under-eye treatment.
What types of Restylane fillers are there?
Restylane Refyne is used to fill in the very fine lines in the skin. For lip filling, we use Restylane Kysse. This filler adds volume and contours the lips. If you want more improvement of the skin from the inside rather than more volume we use Restylane Vital Skinbooster.
Before treatment
During your free intake with one of our cosmetic doctors, you will be advised which Restylane hyaluronic acid filler is best for you to achieve your desired results. Sometimes a combination of two sub-variants of Restylane may be the best option for you. Prior to the appointment, you will be asked to complete a medical questionnaire. We also take photographs to assess the results during your checkup appointment. Then your skin will be numbed with EMLA cream. This ensures that the treatment is virtually painless. During your treatment, the doctor reiterates what was discussed during the intake.
After treatment
After treatment, you will be given a post-treatment protocol outlining any limitations after treatment with this wrinkle filler. Post-photos are taken at the checkup appointment. Immediate results can be seen after treatment. The final result is only visible after 2 weeks. The effect can last up to 12 months. This varies from person to person and from treated area to area.
Safety of Restylane fillers
The long-term safety of Restylane fillers has been proven after countless treatments. If complications do occur or you are dissatisfied with the result, Restylane hyaluronic acid fillers can be dissolved with hyalase.
