This is a facelift with fillers and is the solution for mild to moderate sagging skin. After treatment with fillers, your face is actually refreshed, your skin is tighter, you glow again and you look many years younger without the disadvantages of a surgical facelift.
Facelift without surgery
A surgical facelift is usually performed in a hospital and you will receive a full anesthesia for this. Actual skin is cut away to create a lifting effect, and therefore you have to deal with a fairly long recovery time. At The Body Clinic, we want to make a mini facelift more accessible. We aim for a short recovery period and quick results for a relatively cheaper price than a surgical facelift. Thus, with the liquid facelift, there is no cutting and no need for anesthesia.
Liquid facelift with fillers
We use fillers during the liquid facelift to restore volume to your face. The fillers we use are hyaluronic acid-based, a translucent body gel. At The Body Clinic, we only work with A-brands of hyaluronic acid, such as Restylane, Teosyal and Saypha Volume. Especially Saypha Volume we use for the liquid facelift treatment. Tens of millions of treatments have already been performed with these hyaluronic acids and their long-term safety has also been proven. Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance found in the body itself that has a hydrating and collagen boosting effect on the skin.
What areas can be treated during a liquid facelift?
With aging, the amount of natural hyaluronic acid and thus volume in the skin decreases. We experience a decrease in fat reserves and facial support tissue. This results in volume loss. How quickly this occurs depends on lifestyle, wear and tear and heredity, among other factors. In your younger years, you may have had fuller and firmer cheeks. Also, the temples may recede a bit, making your forehead appear narrower. By contouring at the top of the face, you restore the beautiful V-shape in the face, which exudes youthfulness. There are, of course, other areas that can be considered for contour restoration such as the cheekbones, nasolabial fold, corner of the mouth and jawline.
The areas
Based on the shape of your face and your needs, we restore the volume that has been lost through hyaluronic acid. The most popular areas are:
- the temples(1)
- the cheekbones(2)
- and the nasolabial fold(3).
With these areas you restore the natural V-shape of the face which stands for youthfulness.
Other areas are:
- the cheeks(4) and
- the corners of the mouth & jawline(5).
Volume loss
Hyaluronic acid-based fillers can be used when one wants to fill wrinkles or restore volume to the face. A wrinkle that has become deep over time can be properly filled with fillers. Fine wrinkles, for example around your mouth, are also well treated. During a liquid facelift, multiple areas of the face are treated. Actually, almost all wrinkles on your face are suitable for treatment with hyaluronic acid fillers.

We always recommend that our clients first visit the clinic for a consultation to discuss your needs with one of our doctors. This will help discuss whether your wishes are feasible and what brand of fillers can be used to achieve the best results. After all, each brand has unique characteristics.
During the consultation, you will be asked to complete a medical questionnaire. If you are satisfied with the consultation and would like to schedule an appointment, you will be given information to take home to prepare for the liquid facelift. We also understand that you may want some time for reflection after the consultation. This is why a consultation at our clinics is completely free of charge.
The liquid facelift treatment
If you are satisfied with the consultation and come back for the actual treatment, it is important to follow some advice before the treatment. We recommend that you take 1x 10mg of Cetrizine against swelling. To prevent bruising, we recommend taking Arnica drops from 5 days before to two days after the treatment. If you normally take dietary supplements, vitamins and/or fish oil, we recommend that you stop taking these 5 days before the treatment. Alcohol intake has no positive influence on treatment. Therefore, it is important not to consume alcohol 48 hours before treatment. Finally, we recommend that you do not use blood-thinning medications such as Asperine, Naproxen and Ibuprofen for treatment ( paracetamol is allowed).
For the liquid facelift treatment
Photographs are taken prior to a filler treatment. Then the area to be treated will be numbed with a cream and you will be asked to sign a treatment agreement. The doctor at The Body Clinic will once again discuss with you your wishes and analyze what the options are to achieve the desired results. What you have in mind is not always possible or is not always the best solution. It is therefore important that you always have a consultation with one of our experienced doctors prior to treatment.
After the liquid facelift treatment
After the liquid facelift, the affected area may be somewhat swollen, red and/or blue. In our clinic, you can cool immediately. We recommend keeping this up for 10-30 minutes. We do not recommend sports after treatment, as well as sun radiation on the treated area by using a good sunscreen. We also recommend that you avoid using a tanning bed and avoid facial treatments such as peels, lasers or microdermabrasion for at least two weeks. Give your skin time to recover. Two weeks after treatment, you will return for a checkup. Should you be completely satisfied this is not necessary. Of course, if you have any doubts about the result, you are welcome to discuss it with our doctor.
Result liquid facelift
The results of hyaluronic acid-based fillers last about 12 months. Immediate results can be seen after treatment. The final result is visible after two weeks. It depends on the person how long a filler actually lasts. Some people break down hyaluronic acid faster than others. Therefore, it is difficult to say exactly how long a filler will maintain the desired results.
Liquid facelift Amsterdam
On the day your liquid facelift is scheduled, our assistant will receive you at the clinic in Amsterdam or Duiven. At both locations of The Body Clinic, you can have a liquid facelift. You make your own choice in this. Should you not be satisfied with the results, it is good to know that the fillers we use at The Body Clinic are dissolvable and temporary. We absolutely do not use permanent fillers at our clinic in Amsterdam and Duiven.
